A Legacy Built on Hard Work and Integrity

The story of Wilson Fire Sprinkler Co. began with a simple redirection. In 1969, after being told his color-blindness would prevent a career in law enforcement, Mike Wilson took the advice of a fellow church member and applied to become a fire sprinkler fitter.

After years of honing his craft and working nights and weekends to save $10,000, Mike’s dream of business ownership became a reality. In February 1979, he received his license and founded S & W Fire Sprinkler Company. For the first 15 years, Mike’s dedication was unmatched working every single day except for Thanksgiving and Christmas, personally handling every bid, fabrication, and installation.

The Next Generation

In 2007, we rebranded as Wilson Fire Sprinkler Co. to better reflect our family identity. Today, Mike’s son, John Wilson, serves as President. Under his leadership, we continue to uphold the same "customer-first" philosophy that Mike established in 1979.

With over 7,300 projects completed across California, we remain a family-owned business that treats every customer like gold. Whether we are protecting a high-security correctional facility or your family home, our commitment remains the same: Quality fire protection at a competitive price.
